Below are some precautions some individuals may consider when taking this product. Although we have never heard of any major side effects that would be of concern, most of the feedback we receive is "surprisingly easy bowel movements", "some gas", as would be expected when the intestines start working properly.
- If you have not taken a probiotic before, we recommend starting with as little as 1 drop per day to acclimate your body to the product.
- Individuals with ulcers should take small amounts, such as drops, as product has a low pH of 3.5.
- Add PRO EM•1® to a glass of water or juice especially if you have ulcers.
- Individuals with dietary disorders should start with one to two drops a day until tolerance builds, usually within 10-14 days.
Dosage
Suggested Dose is 3 teaspoons per day.

PRO EM•1® is generally taken to support a digestive functioning. It is a raw fermented supplement, fermentation temperatures do not exceed 105°F. The naturally-occurring by-products (metabolites) of fermentation help support digestive function. Molasses contains over 40 trace minerals which are made bio-available trace minerals through the fermentation process. Diabetics and those looking for low glycemic foods do not have to be concerned with the fact that honey and molasses are used to make PRO EM•1® Daily Probiotic Cleanse because all of the sugars are digested during the fermentation. The addition of aloe and honey are for their benefits in digestion as well as to help make a more mild tasting EM•1®.
