The Effective Microorganisms™ helps increase the nutrient uptake potential and efficiency, while reducing plant stress that can be caused by high levels of available nutrients. All plants benefit from the numerous enzymes, organic acids, growth stimulants, bioflavinoids, and amino acids that are by-products (or metabolites) of the live, active microbes in EM•1^®.

Application rates

1 part EM•1^® Microbial Inoculant: 1,000 parts nutrient solution for tomatoes
1:2000 for lettuces
Foliar spray plants 2-3 times per week with a 1:1,000 solution of EM•1^® and water

Water can also be conditioned using our 35mm Pipe ceramics. For every 1,000 gallons of water in tanks, use 4 sets of the pipes. They can be put inside a 1 1/4" PVC pipe and plumbed directly into the main supply line. This will help condition the water and pull out dissolved solids in the water. If the unit is set up on a circulation system, you will notice it makes better use of the ceramics. Learn how to make a Pi Blaster using the 35mm ceramics.

Add EM•1^® Microbial Inoculant as needed to maintain recommended dilution ratios.
