EM-1® Waste Treatment

Environmental services, or waste treatments, all use bacteria to accelerate the breakdown of organic materials.  All these processes focus on aerobic methods to prevent rotting and the production of odors. Tremendous amounts of energy are used to run machinery and aeration units. EM-1® Waste Treatment is a liquid concentrate of beneficial bacteria that will stop putrefaction (rotting) of organic materials. Using EM-1® Waste Treatment in a bioremediation system will accentuate the beneficial microbial growth in the process, accelerating the process, and ultimately save the operation money.

We have developed certain guidelines for applications that have been developed by the various EM Research Organization partners around the world (EMRO, APNAN, INFRC).  Each site will require a slightly different application ratio. This is often due to moisture content and the condition of the materials. Essentially, if the materials are really rotten, one has to over-power the rotting microbes with EM-1® Waste Treatment until putrefaction can be reversed.
