Many of our customers have asked if there is an easy-to-use EM® solution for septic systems and portable toilets, boats, RVs, buses, or even a home septic system. We did some experimenting with EM® Bokashi and found that just 3-4 packets per month in a 1000-gallon septic system is all you need to control odors, increase digestion, and improve the overall performance of a septic system.
For portable toilets, adding one packet per toilet will keep the toilet odor free and prevent mounding in the toilet for up to 7 days. This makes pumping the toilets much easier to do. These packets contain no artificial scents or dyes, making them environmentally-friendly and easy to use. No liquid to measure. Just toss one in an forget about it.
