Effective Microorganisms™ products contain several enzymes, bio-available trace minerals, vitamins, and live naturally occurring beneficial microorganisms. All EM-1® Microbial Inoculant is registered for sale in over 20 states as soil amendments or fertilizers and are sold under different labels according to their intended use: Microbial Inoculant, Waste Treatment, and Waste Treatment for Septic Systems. EM1 can be used directly from the bottle or Activated. Activation is a process where more product can be grown with the use of molasses, water, and EM1. The procuess can only be done one generation and maintain the balance of microbes in the original EM1 culture.
PRO EM-1® Daily Probiotic Cleanse contains is a slightly different culture and different balance of microbes than EM-1® Microbial Inoculant and contains the following microorganisms: Lactobacillus plantarum, Lactobacillus casei, Lactobacillus fermentus, Lactobacillus bulgaricus, Saccharomyces cerevisiae, and Rhodopseudomonas palustris.
