My name is Jo-Anne Kaneshiro and I am writing in favor of using Effective Microorganisms™, or EM-1®, for odor control at landfills and with other waste products.
I am the owner of Fukuda Seed Store, Inc. here in Honolulu. We sell fertilizers, vegetables, fruit and flower seeds, and other various gardening and farming supplies. We have been a wholesaler/retailer of EM-1® for approximately 5 years and fully believe in the product. Although we initially marketed EM-1® for agricultural use, we have since come to realize its potential in odor control. Our customers have reported great success with EM-1® as an odor neutralizer for everything from backyard animals waste to livestock production to toilet bowls and septic tanks! And not just odors are eliminated, but flies seem to be repelled by EM-1® as well.
